New Member of Parliament

Comments Off Our newly elected M.P. Dominic Raab has been holding open meetings around the Constituency. Within Walton around 40 local people recently met him at the Day Centre. Having spoken for around ten minutes he then answered questions for the next hour and a half on a variety of different issues affecting local Communities. He has tackled a steep learning curve familiarising himself with the area and of course, unlike his predecessor, he is a resident in Elmbridge. Clearly he is determined first and foremost to be a good constituency M.P., and despite misleading comments in the Press recently, welcomes feedback over the web from his constituents. He appeared at the meeting on crutches following a recent hip operation and we wish him a speedy recovery.
