Drewitts Court gets a licking………..

The next stage of Drewitts Court study by Elmbridge Borough Council seems to have taken place this week in that some new white lines and warnings have been painted in the car park.

It is quite encouraging that if you follow the newly painted arrows after coming down from the upper level the arrows actually direct you to exit via Bridge Street!! The arrows clearly discourage any driver from going toward the Hepworth Way exit; it would certainly appear that the powers that be at EBC have listened to the ‘voice of Walton’As you will see there is now a ‘NO ENTRY’ painted to stop you exiting toward Hepworth Way and at the bottom of the ramp an arrow and double lines direct drivers toward the Bridge Street exit.

One confusing aspect of these new lines is that if vehicles are attempting to park in the lower lever then they could end up facing one another in the middle of park cars with nowhere to go!

Please see all photos below.

Follow the Arrows...to Bridge Street

Best WAY OUT but be careful of what the arrows say!
