The Olympic Cycling Test Event gets even closer, signs are going up on all of the roads which are part of the route as well as roads which feed into the route.

This is a reminder to all that the closure of roads on Sunday the 14th August will have an effect on all traffic and pedestrians in Walton that day.

Walton bridge will be closed to traffic for some of the day.

Terrace Road is part of the route

At the moment it appears that the main route will be closed from about 6 o’clock in the morning until about 2 o’clock in the afternoon and there will only be certain crossing places that will be avaiable to cross the route. These crossing places have yet to be publicised.
