On-street Parking charges in Walton

Below are the tariffs which will become effective in Walton once the new on-street charges are applied:
- Hersham Road, Rydens Road, Station Avenue/Halfway Green: £1 per hour with a two-hour limit, but with free initial 30-mintue period.
- Ashley Road, New Zealand Avenue, High Street, Bridge Street and Thames Street: £1 per hour with a two-hour limit, but without free initial period.
- It will cost 60 pence per hour on all other roads except Ashley Park Road and Mayfield Road which will have a compulsory £5 charge for four hours.
These charges may change in the future.

Interesting to note that Ian Lake is the Councillor for Weybridge and the Cabinet member responsible for Transport and who has been pushing this whole idea on on-street parking through SCC to get it applied across Elmbridge and yet most towns do not get the first 30mins free but Weybridge does….interesting that!
