The River Thames Society is hosting an evening talk by Ian Dow. Former Engineering Manager with BBC TV Outside Broadcasts, Ian Dow of Lower Sunbury will be giving a talk on Friday 18th November, 7:30pm at St Nicholas Parish Hall, Church Square, Shepperton TW17 9JY. The talk is entitled ‘Lights, Camera, Action- oops!’ The event is arranged by the River Thames Society and entrance costs £4.00 for members and £5.00 for non-members.

Heritage Day 2011 Another successful Heritage Day was held at Walton Wharf on Saturday.  A couple of showers did not dampen the enthusiasm of those involved, and, as in previous years, there was a steady stream of visitors through the afternoon.
