Pay and Dismay

Surrey County Council is determined to implement a Pay and Display scheme across Elmbridge, the implementation start date for Walton is scheduled May-June this year. The Pay and Display plans for Surrey identify 3500 parking bays of which 177 are in Walton, these extend from roads in the town centre up to and including Station Avenue /Rydens Road. Community Halls

Elmbridge, and Walton in particular, have benefited from having a variety of halls available for public use. Church Halls, School Halls and others have complemented the 9 Halls that had long been run by Elmbridge Borough Council. These nine halls ran local events, from Playgroups for toddlers to Old Folks Clubs, from yoga to boxing. Walton Police Station-sold down the river?
