Riverhouse Barn

Changes at Riverhouse Barn   After over 20 years in charge of everything at Riverhouse Barn, Susan Segal has announced her retirement. Memories of Walton

Memories of Walton   We now have for sale the DVD produced in 2010 for Heritage Day. The film was produced by The Walton Society and contains memories about how Walton once was; they are from some of our older residents and include memories from the 1920′s onwards. It is a very interesting film and if any of you have relatives in far flung parts of the world it would make a very nice keepsake for ... Read More

Walton Library……fears for its future?

22nd October 2008 Dear Sir, As a resident of Walton-on-Thames for many years I am concerned about the future of the old Library building, formerly the local school. This building is currently not in use and the its future appears to be uncertain since the proposal to move the Elmbridge Museum into it has now been abandoned. The building is, in my view, of architectural interest marking the entry to the town from the A ... Read More
