Walton Playhouse Refurbishment Work is now well underway on the refurbshment of The Playhouse as can be seen from the photograph below. The refurbishment will include new flat roofing, drainage repairs, double glazed windows, new fire doors and partitions, and a new fire detection system. Heritage Day 2011 Another successful Heritage Day was held at Walton Wharf on Saturday.  A couple of showers did not dampen the enthusiasm of those involved, and, as in previous years, there was a steady stream of visitors through the afternoon.
